Do I always prefer whatever is in the middle?

Well, not always. But a new study in cognitive psychology confirms the center-stage effect: we have a general tendency for doing so.

You may find the article here: http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/acp.1812/abstract

Now, since it is election time here in Denmark, I was asked to comment on the center-stage effect with regard to how it might effect choices of candidates. You can find the on-line article on this here (sorry, it's in Danish):

The national radio's most popular show "Godmorning P3" then picked up the story. Result: a 3 minute interview, before Denmark moved on.

They haven't put the interview up yet, but I'll post the link when they do.
